 Cambodia Team Perspective

After we were informed by the previous board of EGBOK’s permanent closure, we (the Cambodian Team) discussed and decided to continue EGBOK’s great mission and vision. We believed that by running Spoons as a social enterprise, we will be able to generate revenue and continue running the training activities. EGBOK has had a great role in providing vocational training and education to unskilled youths from rural areas and poor family backgrounds, and had a very positive impact to our community for over 10 years.

The Cambodian Team wishes to keep EGBOK’s legacy to alleviate unemployment of unskilled people by training them and giving them the opportunity to be employed in the hospitality sector in the future. Today we move on with “SPOONS Cambodia Organization”.
